Marriage & Family By Design was born out of a passion for helping a bride and groom prepare for their wedding ceremony, a lifetime together, and supporting parents in establishing a cohesive and healthy family as they embrace the certainty of God’s love for each family member.
Blended families, where one or both spouses were a parent bringing children into the marriage, are especially close to the hearts of Tace and Carmen Wieczorek. Blending (pre-marriage) and Blended Families (post-marriage) are a significant focus of Marriage & Family By Design. Tace and Carmen understand firsthand the challenges of blended family living and are committed to helping others experience the rich rewards found in God’s plan for marriage and family relationships.
As the youngest of four brothers, Tace grew up in South Dakota. His studies brought him to Minnesota, where he graduated from Mankato State University in 1986 with Bachelor’s degrees in Math and Computer Science and a Minor in Statistics. After launching a career in the computer consulting field, experiencing a divorce, and working hard as a single father – mutual friends introduced Tace to his bride-to-be.
Carmen is the third eldest of six children in her family, raised in rural Minnesota where she became a licensed Cosmetologist through Horst Institute. Although she turned down an apprenticeship offer at a German salon, the decisions that followed were impactful. When Tace and Carmen’s paths met, she had left the commercial real estate scene to work with a local information technology consulting firm, both of which employed her as an executive assistant.
In 1993, as a single parent, Tace recognized the importance of finding a wife who also had a genuine desire to mother his then two-and four-year-old children. Both Tace and Carmen smile while explaining the “interview” format of their first date lingering from 10:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. in a local Perkins restaurant. While Carmen accepted Tace’s marriage proposal, they both understood that her personal experience of being raised in a blended family would play a crucial role in their newly formed family dynamic as she became both wife and mom on the same day.
Since their marriage in 1994, Tace and Carmen heartily served in various capacities at church: pre-marriage, parenting, and family ministries, focusing on both nuclear and blended families. Their four children also came to love the Lord and serve Him in their respective areas of ministry. Having helped many couples over the years, it became even more evident of this need to work alongside churches and organizations to address marriage and family beliefs (spirit, soul, and body) in alignment with the Bible.
In 2009, their calling to equip couples for lasting marriages, healthy homes, and a thriving family dynamic was beginning to emerge. Their ministry has a special focus on blended families, as they recognize firsthand its list of potential challenges. They remain convicted that the transformative power of God’s Word already offers solutions to overcome any battle. Tace and Carmen wholeheartedly believe in their foundation to serve the Lord as they coach others while passing the baton of victorious living to their children, if they want it.
Tace and Carmen were licensed and ordained ministers in 2010, then again by Kenneth W. Hagin at Rhema since 2020. They have created a ministry that addresses and emphasizes the unvarnished spiritual teachings of a Christian marriage and family. They are now able to share practical tools for building strong, lasting relationships. In their own blended family, they’ve been committed to taking a different path than the status quo models presented in the media and society, and discovered it is possible to have a fulfilling and godly home life. Each workshop, counseling session, and group training expresses their love, priority, and passion as they support clients with principles that seek to understand, foster unity, faith-filled pursuits grounded in God’s love and design for healthy relationships.
Tace and Carmen want to contribute across generations of believers who flourish in their relationships, whether single, engaged, or married. With four grown children, three daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren of their own, they’re excited about the opportunities to impart firsthand knowledge and experiences intended to help others lead their faith-filled family relationships, healthy communities, thus nations rooted in God’s Kingdom values.
Today, Tace and Carmen, know that their own marriage of 31 years has also been strengthened by their commitment in serving others.

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of immeasurable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Psalm 139).
Mankind is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in the relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, mankind cannot attain a right relationship with God through his or her own effort.
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Cor 6:9-11). We believe that every person must be offered compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be rejected and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Marriage & Family By Design.
Since 1996, Tace and Carmen committed themselves to help people know God better through His Word. The Bible is the inspired and infallible, holy Word of God which is their first source of truth, love, the foundation of their faith, as well as their final authority on all issues, including the proper conduct of mankind.
Tace and Carmen equip and exhort Christians to own their faith regardless of being a beginner or experienced believer. Marriage & Family By Design was established, and will remain consistent to, the preservation and protection of marriage as recognized in the Bible as the union of one biological man and one biological woman. Marriage & Family By Design exists to help individuals who sincerely seek reconciliation and wholeness with familial relationships as witnessed by one’s willful submission to the instruction as recorded in the holy Word of God, the Bible. Relational, domestic, familial counseling, adoption, and situational coaching are provided with the intended outcome of creating a healthy, growing and procreative family all to the glory of God.
